What is Course Reserve?

At the request of a course instructor, the library will place certain library material on Course Reserve at the main desk.  Course Reserve materials include required textbooks and photocopies.  Some, but not all, suggested reading material is also placed on Reserve.  The library does not purchase selected statutes (e.g. the Tax Code).  For assistance locating statutory text, speak with a reference librarian.

How do I find Course Reserve Material?

To locate Course Reserve material, search the Course Reserves section of the online catalog or ask for assistance in person at the main desk. 

May I check out Course Reserve Material?

You may check out Course Reserve material for up to 4 hours.  Simply request the book at the main desk.  

What about selected statutes, like the Tax Code?

The law library does not purchase selected statutes as these are readily available in many other sources within the library.

Do you have Course Packs on Reserve?

The library does not purchase or collect course packs from the bookstore. 

Do you have Course Evaluations on Reserve?

Course evaluations for tenured and adjunct faculty are available at the Main Desk. Course evaluations for tenure-track faculty are not available.

What else is on Reserve?

The reserve collection also contains a variety of other commonly requested materials, including:
