Parking
Visitors to the campus can park either at metered parking spots or by paying via the pay-by-phone mobile app. Upon arrival, visitors should follow the instructions on the signs in the parking lot in order to pay for the spot. Parking is free after 5:30pm and on weekends.
Visitors with handicap parking placards who use the handicap parking stalls are also expected to use the pay-by-phone app to pay for parking. Alternatively, they may park in a metered parking spot for free as long as their hangtag is visible.
Non-University vendors are required to pay via the pay-by-phone app or meters, or they can purchase a physical or virtual permit through park.uconn.edu. The vendor-only parking stalls on campus are open to all University and non-University vendors to provide easier access to buildings, but they do not exempt non-University vendors from payment.
